Do I need previous candle-making experience?
No. Starter courses explain the vocabulary and decisions from the beginning, while Developing and Advanced courses assume comfort with basic measuring and workspace habits.
Which wax should a beginner choose?
There is no universal best wax. Wax Foundations compares common options and helps you choose based on your vessel, finish goals, testing time, and supplier guidance.
How do I choose a wick?
Wick Selection Lab introduces a comparison method using vessel diameter, wax, fragrance, and documented burn observations. A test is more useful than a guess.
Are the courses live or self-paced?
The catalog is structured as self-paced learning content. Each listing shows an estimated duration so you can plan a focused studio session.
Can I save a course for later?
Yes. Select Save on a catalog card to store its ID in your browser under Fallows. The Fallows page loads the matching course data from catalog.json.
Does adding a course to the cart place an order?
No. The cart is a static demonstration of course selection and quantity handling. Checkout displays a confirmation modal and does not process payment.
What materials are required?
Requirements vary by course. Read each catalog description and follow the material and safety guidance from your suppliers before beginning an experiment.
Can I ask which course fits my goals?
Yes. Send your experience level, materials, and learning goal through the contact form, and the studio can suggest a sensible starting point.
Does the site use photos or external media?
No. This experience is intentionally text-led and dashboard-oriented so course structure remains the focus.
